I was born
in 1971. Like many imaginative folks, my youthful creativity was unfocused, and I indulged in
before trying my hand at writing prose in my mid-twenties. I was hooked. Writing -- creating worlds out of words -- was the coolest thing I'd ever experienced. After collecting
I had a breakthrough, selling my first story, "Barkers," to a webzine in 2003. Since then, I've had modest success as a writer, selling
